Packaging

We're committed to sourcing sustainable packaging - but not at the cost of encouraging food waste. We attempted to go 100% plastic free (using fully compostable and sustainably sourced wood pulp) but it didn't work. Our products were damaged and the shelf life decreased dramatically - sadly the pros did not outweigh the cons. That said - we're always on the look out and ready to try new options.

The trays we use are 100% recycled and widely recyclable plastic, and we're working on improving the shelf life by improving the packaging further. This opens up lots of doors for us (exciting ones!) and provides more environmentally friendly packaging than a lot of cheese out there. We'll continue to keep our eyes peeled for innovate and eco-friendly ways to wrap up our products and deliver them to you!
